This panel will feature Chicago women in technology discussing challenges and triumphs in their careers, plus advice they’d give themselves when they were first starting out.
All ticket sales from this event will benefit Girls Who Code, which aims close the gender gap in technology.

Meet Our Speakers
Victoria Phillips, COO, Avionos
As Chief Operating Officer, Victoria is responsible for the integration of Avionos’ business practices, with a focus on creating tools and processes for delivering high quality client work and bringing the best team together for clients. With over 20 years of delivery management and business operations experience, Victoria specializes in orchestrating the successful delivery of complex initiatives. Victoria has led delivery across multiple agencies for clients such as Abercrombie & Fitch, Kraft, Samsung and Discover Financial Services, establishing the project management discipline and creating effective processes for digital development. Jill Kouri, CMO, Jones Lang LaSalle
Jill’s diverse career in marketing spans more than 25 years. She joined JLL as CMO in 2014, after 14 years at Accenture. Based in Chicago, Jill oversees JLL’s business development, branding, public relations, and internal communications. She leads more than 250 individuals who advance the firm’s growth through marketing efforts. A strong believer in the advancement of women in the workplace, Jill is a member of Advancing Women Executives (AWE) and has been a long-time supporter of Dress for Success, serving on the not-for-profit organization’s advisory council. Dr. Eric Lueshen, Co-Founder & Managing Director, LGBT SportSafe
Dr. Eric Lueshen is a strategic diversity consultant, educator, thought leader, and renowned motivational speaker. As co-founder and managing director of the LGBT SportSafe Inclusion Program, Eric works with coaches, administrators and student-athletes at all levels of sport on building infrastructures of inclusion. He was a place kicker for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2003-2006, and was likely the first openly gay Division 1 college football player. Eric is a frequent guest on radio talk shows and podcasts, and a contributing writer for the Huffington Post. His drive has led to numerous accolades on and off the field. While finishing his PhD in biomedical engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Eric found a passion for LGBTQ inclusion in sport work and has vowed to make the world of sport a safe place for all. He works closely with the NCAA on inclusion initiatives including “Common Ground”, which aims to establish inclusive and respectful athletics environments for participants of all sexual orientations, gender identities and religious beliefs. Eric is a member of GO! Athletes and actively contributes to organizations like the Human Rights Campaign, OutSports, WeCOACH, and others. Connect on LinkedIn here.
Dr. Shikha Jain, Assistant Professor of Medicine / Director of Social Media and Communications, Rush University Medical Center
Dr. Shikha Jain is a board-certified hematology and oncology physician. She is an assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Hematology, Oncology and Cell Therapy at the Rush University Medical Center. She is the Director of Social Media and Communications for the Rush University Cancer Center. She was named one of Modern Healthcare’s Top 25 Emerging Leaders in 2019, and was also awarded the Rising Star award by the LEAD Oncology Conference in 2019. Dr. Jain was selected as a ResearcHERS ambassador by the American Cancer Society, and was honored by 500 Women in Medicine. She has been appointed to the 2020 American Society for Clinical Oncology Women’s Networking Center taskforce and appointed to the Council on Communications and Membership Advocacy for the Illinois State Medical Society. She founded and co-chaired the inaugural Women In Medicine Symposium at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago in 2018 focused on promoting the advancement of women physicians at Northwestern. She is the co-founder and co-chair of the “Women in Medicine Summit: An Evolution in Empowerment” in Chicago. This national CME conference focuses on gender equality and finding and implementing solutions to eliminate the gap. She is the co-founder of the Rush Center for the Advancement of Women in Health Care. Dr. Jain gave a TEDx talk in 2019 on the gender moonshot and the importance of gender parity in healthcare.
