Crestron Electronics, the provider of hardware and software used to control and automate numerous types of technological systems, wanted to create a digital experience that allows customers to satisfy their broad set of objectives online through the power of the Salesforce B2B Commerce platform. Crestron needed this new eCommerce system to seamlessly integrate with their current instances of Sales and Service Cloud to ensure business processes are precise and fast moving.
Avionos led a discovery session with Crestron’s marketing and IT teams to document their requirements and use cases for their new B2B site. By leveraging out-of-the-box functionality, Avionos was able to quickly stand up a new B2B site for Crestron while creating a visual representation of the site that could be shared to customers as soon as possible. By developing this first release of the portal, customer feedback could be used to better understand what capabilities are necessary in further releases.
Upon completion of the project, Avionos was able to deliver a new storefront that resonated with both loyal customers and unique visitors by including product and service discovery, pricing requests, ordering, post purchase self-service, as well as an intuitive and simple user experience. Crestron’s account managers and customer service reps are now able to quickly and effectively navigate accounts within their Salesforce ecosystem and identify opportunities that would have been difficult to discover and act on prior to Avionos’ engagement.
