AllianceRx Walgreens Prime delivers specialty and maintenance medicines through its central specialty and mail service pharmacies. Their patient contact management and engagement experience needed upgrading to accommodate patient database, but also needed to accommodate existing internal systems. AllianceRx sought a strategic partner that could develop and execute a solution to improve patient preference management, notifications, and journeys.


AllianceRx partnered with Avionos to evaluate a new marketing automation platform and develop the functional and technical system designs for the patient contact management transformation. The defined solution creates an integrated view of patient prescription status, notification preferences, SMS integration, new patient onboarding, refill journeys, and marketing campaign capabilities.


As a result of this implementation, Alliance RX saw 78% increase in returning user rate, 22% new user growth, and now has improved insight into patient conversion.
