Across Medical, Veterinary, financial services and other educational verticals, students will feel the impact of COVID-19 just a little less.  From the Beginning  For e-learners, the act of purchasing their online courses should be the least of their worries when it comes to continuing their education or becoming accredited. For Adtalem, that meant creating a simple, seamless user experience for a very complex transaction and system integration.   Adtalem Global Education provides in-person and online education for degree and non-degree seeking students. It is the parent organization for several education businesses including Adtalem Educacional do Brasil, American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine, Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists, Becker Professional Education, OnCourse Learning, Ross University School of Medicine and Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.  To improve Adtalem’s overall technology footprint, the company wanted to develop a technology solution that provided one unified customer account. It had to integrate purchasing capabilities with a learning management system and also provide account history so that students could buy, track progress, and see accreditation history in one place.   After reviewing a number of platforms, Avionos showcased how Acquia Drupal (for the content management system) combined with Salesforce B2B Commerce (for the purchasing platform) provided the stability, flexibility, sophistication, and performance capabilities that Adtalem’s complex challenge required. was the first business selected to implement this new architecture. It allowed students to easily complete the purchase of the CPA courses, earn accreditation, and see their account history all in one place. It’s a truly seamless, unified customer experience.  The architecture and implementation guide will now serve as the framework for all Adtalem business units and global markets.
