Working with Avionos, Bear Naked Custom Granola, was recently awarded the “Customer Management Award” by Consumer Goods Technology. This award is presented to “the consumer goods firm that is best leveraging technology or business process change to manage customer relationships, trade promotions, marketing and/or consumer insights.”
Avionos developed the first successful integration of IBM’s Chef Watson in a customer-facing website. The results from IBM Chef Watson’s integration confirmed the hypothesis that millennial customers will embrace a consumer food product that offers guided customization and personalized food choices. “We launched Bear Naked Custom Made Granola because we know that our Food Forward Millennial consumers are looking beyond the cereal aisle for new food experiences – they want to explore new and different tastes and flavors,” Chris Tutor, Vice President of Strategy at Bear Naked, said when describing the target audience for their brand.
Bear Naked is leveraging a CloudCraze solution that sits on top of Salesforce. Avionos was able to launch the website in just four months. Bear Naked is supporting the project through PR, digital media, print media, and experiential marketing.
