The Chicago-based digital services and solutions provider ranks number 739 on the annual list for tremendous employee and revenue growth, as well as overall company acceleration
Avionos, which designs and implements digital commerce and marketing solutions, has been named to Inc. Magazine’s list of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in America. In its first year of eligibility, Avionos landed in the top 15% of the list at number 739. This comes on the heels of 900% growth since 2015 and 350% increase in employee headcount since its founding five years ago.
Since its first introduction in 1982, the annual Inc. 5000 list ranks the nation’s top 5000 fastest-growing private companies according to their three year percentage revenue growth. To qualify for this honor, companies must be U.S. based, privately held, for-profit and independent, and have started earning revenue by March 31, 2015. The companies included in the 2019 Inc. 5000 achieved an astounding three-year average growth of 454%, and a median rate of 157%. In addition, the Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue was $237.7 billion in 2018, accounting for 1,216,308 jobs over the past three years.
Founded in 2014, Avionos delivers expert strategy, experience management, integrated marketing, and commerce, sales and service enablement for clients like Kellogg’s, Sysco, JLL and CSA Group. The company has also been named on the Crain’s Best Places to Work in Chicago List for two years in a row, included on Comparably’s 2018 Best Company Culture List, and certified as a Great Place to Work.
“It’s an honor to be recognized on this year’s Inc. 5000 list. Ranking so well in our first year of eligibility is a credit to the hard work, perseverance and talent that we cultivate at Avionos, as well as the forward-looking clients that enabled us to reach this goal,” said Scott Webb, CEO of Avionos. “There is massive market opportunity for digital customer experience innovation. Our people and our commitment to outcomes-based delivery have proven to be a successful formula for creating a business that outpaces our competitors and offers world-class integrated marketing and commerce expertise. The future looks great for Avionos, and I’m excited to see how we’ll continue to grow in the years to come.”
This has been a year of record growth for Avionos. In the last year, the company’s headcount has grown over 70% and revenue is up almost 50%. The company also released the second year of its annual B2B and B2C commerce benchmark data reports, which highlight key industry trends – the Consumer Expectations in 2019 and the 2019 B2B Buyer Report. The data-driven analysis enables Avionos to inform its partners, customers and prospects of the technology changes affecting their businesses today.
“As someone who’s been here since day one, it’s thrilling to experience this company’s tremendous growth first hand,” says Gibson Smith, Avionos co-founder and principal. “Our mission since launch has been to build a highly impactful, market-leading services provider.
